Summer School
Every August, we run a popular one-week Dance Summer School at the University of Winchester. Booking is now open for Summer School 2024.
With guest teachers, students have the opportunity to explore a range of dance genres including Ballet, Conditioning, Contemporary, Street Dance, Cheer, Drama, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Tap and Yoga to name a few. The action-packed week also includes sessions such as costume design, stage make-up, arts and crafts and games. Oh, and of course Summer School wouldn’t be the same without those homemade cakes and the Florian tuck shop!
The senior students have the opportunity to learn choreography techniques and to produce and perform their own piece at the end of week. All groups come together for an informal sharing performance for family and friends’ students on the Friday afternoon. Everyone receives a certificate of participation and a medal.
Summer School costs £200 for five full days or £100 for half days and is open to Reception children and above.
